Accessibility Statement

Effective 15 October 2026

Who this is from: Cristian Scutariu, trading as Condei, 128 City Road, London, EC1V 2NX, United Kingdom
Contact: support@condei.app
Applies to: the website at condei.app (the Condei apps are covered by their own platform accessibility features, see section 6)

On this page

1. Short version

We want everyone to be able to use condei.app, including people who use a screen reader, a keyboard instead of a mouse, high zoom, or reduced motion. We design and test the site against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, level AA. If something on the site doesn't work for you, tell us at support@condei.app and we'll fix it or get you the information another way.

2. What you can do on this website

  • Use every page and every control with a keyboard alone. A "Skip to content" link is the first thing on each page, and the item that has focus is always outlined.
  • Zoom to 400% or use a screen as narrow as 320 pixels without content being cut off or needing to scroll sideways.
  • Turn on Reduce Motion (or "prefers reduced motion" in your browser): the site then stops all animations that play on their own or follow your scrolling, and shows each demonstration in its finished state.
  • Use the site with JavaScript turned off: every page's text and pictures are still there.
  • Use light or dark appearance; the site follows your device's setting and keeps text contrast at the AA level in both.
  • Read every page with a screen reader: pages use real headings in order, landmarks, labelled controls and text alternatives for meaningful images.

3. The interactive product demonstrations

Some pages show working replicas of the Condei app — a board you can drag cards on, a table you can edit, a note you can encrypt in your browser. They are there to show what the app does; nothing on the site depends on using them.

  • The board can be operated with a keyboard: Tab to a card, Space to pick it up, the arrow keys to move it, Enter to drop it and Escape to cancel. Each move is announced to screen readers.
  • Every other demonstration can be played, paused or replayed with ordinary buttons and form controls.
  • The caption beside each demonstration says in words what it shows, so you don't need to watch it to follow the page.

4. How we test

  • Automated testing with axe-core against WCAG 2.0, 2.1 and 2.2 at levels A and AA, on every page, in light and dark appearance, on a desktop and a phone-sized screen. Last run: 15 October 2026.
  • Manual testing of keyboard-only use, focus order and visibility, colour contrast, Reduce Motion, 320-pixel width and the site without JavaScript, on every page.

5. Known limitations

  • Pictures of the apps (for example, the devices at the top of the home page) are illustrations. Their text alternatives describe what they show rather than reading out every word on the screens.
  • Screen-reader testing with VoiceOver and TalkBack across the interactive demonstrations is ongoing; if you find one hard to use, please tell us.

We review this statement whenever the site changes significantly, and at least once a year.

6. The Condei apps

This statement covers the website only. The Condei apps for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android use each platform's standard controls and settings, such as VoiceOver and TalkBack, larger text and Reduce Motion. If something in an app doesn't work for you, please tell us at the same address.

7. Tell us about a problem

Email support@condei.app with the page address and what went wrong. If you need any information from this site in a different format, ask and we'll provide it.
