How you get it

Condei Nor is bought inside the app, through the App Store or Google Play. There is no other way to pay, and nothing to buy on this site.

  2. Choose Condei Nor in the app

    When you first open Condei, or later from Settings. Already writing in a free vault? Your notes come with you.

  3. Sign in the same way everywhere

    One subscription works on every platform, whichever store you bought it in. Sign in on each device with the method you first chose.

If you stop

Your notes are yours whether or not you pay.

  • Your notes stay on your devices, readable and editable. Sync pauses.
  • The encrypted copy on our server is kept for 90 days after your subscription ends, however it ends, then deleted. We remind you before it goes.
  • Before then, Condei fetches every photo and file your device doesn’t have yet, and can move your notes back to an iCloud Vault on Apple devices or keep them on your phone on Android.
  • Cancel during the free trial after moving from iCloud, and your notes go back to iCloud, with everything you wrote during the trial.

What our server can still see

Encryption hides what you write. It doesn’t hide that you’re writing. With Condei Nor, our server can see:

  • that you have an account, your email address and how you sign in;
  • how many notes you have, roughly how large each is, and when each changed;
  • which devices are yours, when each was last seen, and roughly where from;
  • which attachments belong to which note, and their sizes;
  • whether you subscribe to Condei Nor, through which store and on which plan.

Never your notes’ titles, text, tags or folders, or what’s in your attachments. The full list is in the Privacy Policy.

Can my family share one subscription?

No. A Condei account belongs to one person, and so does a Condei Nor subscription. Each person needs their own. Family Sharing isn’t offered.

Is there a Windows app, or a web version?

No. Condei is for iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android, and Condei Nor syncs between those. There is no Windows app and no web app.

Which sign-in method should I use?

The one you chose when you created your account — Apple, Google, a passkey, or an email and password — on every device. Condei never merges accounts, even when the email address matches, so signing in a different way won’t find your notes.

I subscribed on my iPhone. Does it work on Android?

Yes. One subscription works on every platform. It’s managed in the store you bought it from, and the other platform’s app won’t ask you to pay again.

How do I cancel?

In the store you subscribed through. On iPhone or iPad: Settings › your name › Subscriptions. On a Mac: in the App Store, under your account’s subscriptions. On Android: Google Play › Payments & subscriptions › Subscriptions. Cancel at least 24 hours before the trial or the current period ends, or the next one is charged. Deleting the app doesn’t cancel it.

Can I have the free trial more than once?

No. The 1-month trial is once per person, on the annual plan, whichever store you use. The monthly plan has no trial.

Can I pay the annual plan monthly instead?

On an iPhone, iPad or Mac running iOS or macOS 26.4 or later, yes: Apple lets you pay the annual plan as 12 monthly payments of £2.99 / $2.99 / €2.99 (£35.88 / $35.88 / €35.88 over the year) instead of one yearly payment. There’s no free trial on this option. Apple doesn’t offer it everywhere — it isn’t available in the United States or Singapore — and Condei only offers it where Apple does, on an Apple device. It isn’t available on Android. Cancelling stops it renewing after the 12th payment; it doesn’t cancel the months you still owe if you cancel partway through.

Is there a free version of Condei Nor?

No. The free vaults — iCloud Vault on Apple devices, Local Vault with Google Drive backup on Android — are the free Condei. Condei Nor pays for the server that carries your notes between platforms.

Do the people I share with need Condei Nor?

No, to read. Yes, to edit. Anyone can open a note you share with a free Condei account; editing it needs their own Condei Nor.

What happens when I reach 5 GB?

New uploads are refused until you make room, and everything already synced stays exactly as it is. Nothing is deleted to make space.
