Credits & licences

Every font, image and line of code this website ships, and what you may do with it. condei.app has no npm dependency and loads nothing from any other domain (see the Cookie Policy), so this list is short and complete.

Fonts

Fraunces, by the Fraunces Project (originally by Undercase Type), and Karla, by the Karla Project, are both licensed under the SIL Open Font License, version 1.1. This site self-hosts subsetted, variable .woff2 builds of each (assets/fonts/fraunces-display.woff2, assets/fonts/karla-text.woff2) rather than loading them from Google Fonts, so visiting condei.app makes no request to Google (see the Cookie Policy).

The OFL requires its licence text to travel with any redistributed copy of the fonts. It is kept at assets/fonts/OFL.txt. Nothing about either typeface has been renamed in a way the licence would restrict — only the glyph set has been subsetted to Latin, which the OFL explicitly permits.

Images and icons

The wordmark, app icon and every interface icon on this site are outlined SVG paths drawn for Condei's own brand kit — original artwork, not stock or licensed-in, and not reused under any third-party licence.

The iPhone, iPad, Mac and Android device renders on the invitation page (assets/img/devices/) are Condei's own design artboards, built in this repository's design/ folder as part of the site's own design system, not stock photography or a third-party mockup kit.

Photographs. The photographs on this site are free to use, including commercially, under the Pexels License, which does not require credit. We give it anyway, and each file is served from condei.app itself (cropped, resized and re-encoded as WebP, metadata removed):

  • Cliffs and lighthouse at Cabo da Roca — Miguel Almeida, Pexels

Store badges

The App Store, Mac App Store and Google Play artwork in assets/img/badges/ is currently placeholder artwork drawn for this site, greyed out and captioned "Coming soon" on the invitation page — it is not Apple's or Google's official badge artwork, and nothing on this site currently implies either app is available for download.

Before switching the real links on (README.md, "Store badges"), the placeholders must be replaced with the official, unmodified artwork from Apple's and Google's own guidelines, at their minimum sizes and clear space, and the trademark lines below must be shown wherever the real badges appear:

  • Apple: "Apple, the Apple logo, iPhone, iPad and Mac are trademarks of Apple Inc., registered in the U.S. and other countries." App Store badge artwork and usage rules: Apple's Identity Guidelines for the App Store (developer.apple.com/app-store/marketing/guidelines).
  • Google: "Google Play and the Google Play logo are trademarks of Google LLC. Android is a trademark of Google LLC." Badge artwork and usage rules: Google Play's Partner Marketing Hub (partnermarketinghub.withgoogle.com/brands/google-play).

Code

Every script on this site (assets/site.js, assets/invite.js, assets/auth-apple.js) is hand-written for Condei, with no third-party library, no bundler and no build step. There is nothing here to licence or attribute.
